We planned what we thought was a low-key wedding: Get married in the forest, surrounded by our family and friends. It seemed like a really easy endeavor, until we suddenly required two generators, two live bands, food truck, rental lighting, 12 head bridal party, two ring bearers, flower girl, maybe (or maybe not) a tent, chair rental, self-serve bar, rehearsal dinner, borrowed linens, appetizers, photo booth, hotel, hair & make-up appointments, tailor, speeches, photographer, luxury bathroom rentals, park permits- And (for crying out loud!) a s’mores bar with the ever-lingering threat of melting chocolate near an open fire-pit. I planned on handling all of this myself, thinking ‘I’m a rockstar DIY bride’- And while that’s true, the bigger our wedding became, the more I realized that if I attempted to handle these things myself, I would not have had a single moment to enjoy my day. In steps Paige, like a super hero. Her expansive knowledge immediately impressed me, and her personality was so inviting that I felt an instant connection. Her communication was prompt and professional. I was never made to feel like I was bothering her, or that I had an issue she couldn’t handle. When we arrived on our wedding day, everything was perfectly in order and every time we approached her with a question or concern, it was immediately responded to. At one point, she even gave our flower girl clothes from her car so that she could be comfortable during the reception. At the end of the night, my new husband and I were happily whisked away and I had not a worry in the world. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and I know that the peace of mind we had would not have been possible without the support from Paige. She was with us every step of the way, and our day truly would not have been the same without her. She’s stuck with us now, a part of our family
